We have done our best to make sure this bed is as water tight as possible, using materials designed for outdoor weather exposure, however we cannot guarantee full waterproofing due to seams and other design aspects. Although hard wearing, a little bit of love goes a long way with the oilskin edition.

Your Ozbu oilskin bed is constructed with the outdoors in mind. A Ripstop base is used ensuring it can be used on a multitude of surfaces. Ripstop is a woven fabric, using a reinforcing technique that makes it resistant to tearing, ripping and moisture. During weaving, stronger and thicker reinforcement fibers are interwoven in a crosshatch pattern.

It is commonly used in yacht sails and camping equipment among other things, to reduce the wear on fabric which is in direct contact with the ground or wind. Oilskin is waterproof, wind restricting, abrasion resistant, has a long user life, is breathable and extremely durable. It ages and wears well and provides comfort and style without sacrificing quality. As with all things, if taken care of properly, you will reap the benefits!
